Henry County (Georgia)
Das Henry County ist ein County im Bundesstaat Georgia der Vereinigten Staaten. Verwaltungssitz (County Seat) ist McDonough, das nach Captain Thomas Macdonough benannt wurde, dem Sieger über die Briten am Lake Champlain im Britisch-Amerikanischen Krieg von 1812.
Henry County Courthouse in McDonough (2015). Das Courthouse entstand 1897 im Stile der Neuromanik. Es wurde vom Architektenbüro Golucke & Stewart entworfen, auf das viele Gerichts- und Verwaltungsgebäude in Georgia zurückgehen. Das Henry County Courthouse wurde im September 1980 als viertes Objekt im County in das NRHP eingetragen. | |
