Herzklappe

Eine Herzklappe (lateinisch valva = Klappe; valvula = kleine Klappe) wirkt im Herz als Ventil und soll einen Rückstrom des Blutes in die falsche Richtung verhindern. Alle Säugetiere besitzen vier Herzklappen.
