Hugh Carey

Hugh Leo Carey (* 11. April 1919 in Brooklyn, New York City; † 7. August 2011 in Shelter Island, New York) war ein US-amerikanischer Politiker der Demokratischen Partei. Er war von 1975 bis 1983 Gouverneur des Bundesstaates New York. Außerdem vertrat er seinen Staat von 1961 bis 1974 als Abgeordneter im US-Repräsentantenhaus.
