Für den Wettbewerb wurde folgende Jury berufen: Ettore Scola (Jurypräsident), Héctor Babenco, Šarūnas Bartas, Kathryn Bigelow, Reinhard Hauff, Danièle Heymann, Ismail Merchant, Luis Sepúlveda und Tilda Swinton.
