Irakere

Irakere (yoruba für Vegetation) ist eine kubanische Band, die 1973 von dem Pianisten Chucho Valdés gegründet wurde. Die Band spielt hauptsächlich afro-kubanischen Jazz und traditionelle kubanische Musik mit Ausflügen in die klassische und Disco- und Fusion-Musik.
