Isocyanatgruppe
Die Isocyanatgruppe, auch NCO-Gruppe, besteht aus einem Stickstoff-Atom mit einer freien Valenz, welches über eine Doppelbindung an ein Kohlenstoff-Atom gebunden ist, welches wiederum über eine weitere Doppelbindung an ein Sauerstoff-Atom bindet. Diese Gruppe ist Bestandteil der Isocyanate.
