Jean Henri Samuel Formey

Jean Henri Samuel Formey (auch Johann Heinrich Samuel Formey; * 31. Mai 1711 in Berlin; † 8. März 1797 ebenda) war Theologe, Philosoph und Historiker, Mitarbeiter an der „Encyclopédie“ von Diderot und d’Alembert und langjährig führendes Mitglied der Berliner Akademie der Wissenschaften.
