Jischuv

Mit Jischuv (auch Jischuw, hebräisch יִשּׁוּב Jiššūv / Jischūv, deutsch ‚bewohntes Land, Siedlung‘) bezeichnet man die jüdische Bevölkerung und das jüdische Gemeinwesen in Palästina vor der Gründung des Staates Israel (1948).
