Johann Christoph Gottsched (* 2. Februar 1700 in Juditten, Herzogtum Preußen; † 12. Dezember 1766 in Leipzig, Kurfürstentum Sachsen) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller, Dramaturg, Sprachforscher und Literaturtheoretiker sowie Professor für Poetik, Logik und Metaphysik der Aufklärung.
