Johann Georg von Soldner

Johann Georg Soldner, seit 1825 Johann Georg von Soldner, (* 16. Juli 1776 in Georgenhof bei Feuchtwangen; † 13. Mai 1833 in Bogenhausen bei München) war ein deutscher Physiker, Mathematiker, Astronom und Geodät. Für exakte Landesvermessungen entwickelte er das Soldner-Koordinatensystem.
