John Ashcroft

John David Ashcroft (* 9. Mai 1942 in Chicago, Illinois) ist ein US-amerikanischer ehemaliger Politiker. Er war von 2001 bis 2005 Attorney General (Justizminister) der Vereinigten Staaten in der Regierung Bush. Zuvor war er Gouverneur von Missouri (1985–1993) und US-Senator für Missouri (1995–2001).
