John Ellis (Naturforscher)

John Ellis (* 1710 oder 1714 in Irland; † 15. Oktober 1776 in London) war ein irischer Botaniker und Zoologe, der sich unter anderem intensiv mit Zoophyten beschäftigte. Sein offizielles botanisches Autorenkürzel lautet „J.Ellis“.
