John Franklin

Sir John Franklin (* 16. April 1786 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire; † 11. Juni 1847 vor der King-William-Insel in der kanadischen Arktis) war ein britischer Konteradmiral, Polarforscher und Lieutenant governor von Van-Diemens-Land (dem heutigen Tasmanien).
