Jon Lord

John Douglas „Jon“ Lord (* 9. Juni 1941 in Leicester, England; † 16. Juli 2012 in London) war ein britischer Musiker. Er wurde in erster Linie als Gründungsmitglied der Hardrock-Band Deep Purple bekannt. Lord gilt als einer der Wegbereiter der Kombination von Rock mit Klassik.
