Josef I. (Exarch)

Josef I., auch Josif geschrieben (bulgarisch Йосиф I.), geboren als Lasar Jowtschew (bulgarisch Лазар Йовчев; * 5. Mai 1840 in Kalofer; † 20. Juni 1915 in Sofia) war ein bulgarischer Prälat, Politiker, Exarch und Oberhaupt der bulgarisch-orthodoxen Kirche, sowie einer der Aktivisten der Bulgarischen Nationalen Wiedergeburt.
