Kandy
Kandy (Sinhala මහනුවර Maha Nuvara, Aussprache [mahaˈnuʋərə]; Tamil கண்டி Aussprache [ˈkaɳɖi]) ist die Hauptstadt der Zentralprovinz von Sri Lanka. Kandy liegt im zentralen Hochland des Inselstaates und hatte 2016 etwa 150.000 Einwohner.
