Kapila (Sanskrit कपिल kapila) ist ein Weiser (rishi) der hinduistischen Mythologie; seine historische Authentizität ist umstritten. Einigen Quellen zufolge gilt er als Nachfahre von Manu und als Begründer des Samkhya-Systems.
