Das Kipfel (althochdeutsch Kipfa „Wagenrunge“, mittelhochdeutsch Kipfe, lateinisch cippus „Pfahl“, schweizerisch Gipfeli, ungarisch Kifli, in Deutschland auch Hörnchen, in Südtirol Gipfele) ist ein gewöhnlich aus Hefeteig bereitetes Gebäck.
