Die 15. Leichtathletik-Europameisterschaften fanden vom 27. August bis zum 1. September 1990 in der damals jugoslawischen Stadt Split statt. Die Wettkämpfe wurden mit Ausnahme der Marathonläufe und der Gehwettbewerbe im Stadion Poljud ausgetragen.
