Leistungsfaktor

Als Leistungsfaktor (auch Wirkleistungsfaktor) wird in der elektrischen Wechselstromtechnik das Verhältnis vom Betrag der Wirkleistung $P$ zur Scheinleistung $S$ bezeichnet. Das Verhältnis wird in folgender Formel ausgedrückt:

Der Leistungsfaktor kann zwischen 0 und 1 liegen: $0\leq \lambda \leq 1$
