Magnetooptik

Die Magnetooptik ist ein Teilgebiet der Optik, das sich mit der Wechselwirkung von Licht mit Materie im magnetischen Feld beschäftigt. In Kurzform besteht die Wechselwirkung darin, dass durch ein extern angelegtes Magnetfeld ein Material doppelbrechend gemacht wird.
