Mahathir bin Mohamad

Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad, kurz (Doktor) Mahathir oder Dr. M genannt (* 10. Juli 1925 in Alor Setar), war zwischen 1981 und 2003 sowie zwischen dem 10. Mai 2018 und dem 1. März 2020 Premierminister von Malaysia.

1997 erhielt Mahathir bin Mohamad den König-Faisal-Preis für Verdienste um den Islam.
