Marcelin Berthelot

Marcellin Pierre Eugène Berthelot, auch Marcelin Berthelot (* 25. Oktober 1827 in Paris; † 18. März 1907 ebenda), war ein französischer Chemiker, Wissenschaftshistoriker und Politiker. Er entdeckte eine noch heute angewandte Synthese der Ameisensäure aus Kohlenmonoxid.
