Maynard Ferguson

Walter „Maynard“ Ferguson (* 4. Mai 1928 in Verdun (heute Teil von Montreal); † 23. August 2006 in Ventura, Kalifornien) war ein kanadischer Jazz-Trompeter und Flügelhornist. Er galt als „High-Note“-Spezialist und war für seinen großen Tonumfang berühmt.
