Melodiegruppe (engl. melody section) ist bei Bands der Teil der Besetzung, der für die Melodie eines Musikstückes verantwortlich ist. Rhythmusgruppe ist der komplementäre Teil der Gruppe, der den Rhythmus übernimmt.
