Methylobacterium
Methylobacterium ist eine Gattung innerhalb der Ordnung Hyphomicrobiales. Methylobacterium spp. sind Umweltkeime, deren namensgebende Stoffwechseleigenschaft es ist, Methylgruppen verwerten zu können. Sie sind selten krankheitsauslösend, jedoch häufig an der Bildung von Biofilmen beteiligt.
