Michel Aoun

Michel Aoun (arabisch ميشال عون Mischal Aun, DMG Mīšāl ʿAwn; * 30. September 1933 oder 18. Februar 1935 in Haret Hreik, Großlibanon) ist ein libanesischer Offizier und Politiker. Vom 31. Oktober 2016 bis zum 30. Oktober 2022 war er Staatspräsident seines Landes; dieses Amt wird gemäß dem Nationalpakt von 1943 stets mit einem maronitischen Christen besetzt.
