Mikoshi

Als Mikoshi (japanisch 神輿, höflich Omikoshi („ehrwürdige Sänfte“, auch Shin’yo, „Göttersänfte“)) bezeichnet man im Japanischen einen tragbaren Schrein, in dem die Gottheit (Kami) bei Festen aus ihrem Gebäude im Shintō-Schrein herausgeführt werden.
