Mormon ist ein zentraler Prophet aus dem nach ihm benannten Buch Mormon. Er soll nach dem Glauben der Mormonen im 4. Jahrhundert nach Christus in Amerika gelebt haben, was allerdings bis heute historisch nicht nachgewiesen werden konnte.
