Namtaru

Namtaru (sum. ^dnam.tar, ^dna-ám-tar, akkad. Namtaru, ^dnam-ta-ru, NAM.TAR, líl-lá-da-ra) ist ein sumerischer und akkadischer Unterweltsgott. Der Name bedeutet auf sumerisch „Schicksal“. In der älteren Literatur wird er gelegentlich als Gott der Pest betrachtet.
