Nationalparks in Italien

In Italien gibt es 25 Nationalparks. Insgesamt stehen so 1,5 Millionen Hektar unter Schutz, dies entspricht 5 Prozent der Landesfläche. Bis August 2012 waren allerdings nur 22 Gebiete bei der IUCN als Schutzgebiete der Kategorie II (Nationalpark) eingetragen.
