Nervus hypoglossus

Der paarige Nervus hypoglossus (von altgriechisch γλῶσσα glōssa ‚Zunge‘ und ὑπό hypó ‚unter‘) wird auch zwölfter Hirnnerv, N. XII oder Zungenmuskelnerv genannt. Er ist für die motorische Innervation der Zunge zuständig.
