Newtonmore
Newtonmore (schottisch-gälisch Baile Ùr an t-Sléibh) ist eine Ortschaft in der schottischen Council Area Highland. Sie liegt in der historischen Region Badenoch am Oberlauf des Spey, etwa 5 Kilometer südwestlich von Kingussie und 25 Kilometer südwestlich von Aviemore. Der gälische Name bedeutet in etwa Neuer Ort am Moor. Newtonmore gehört zur Civil Parish Kingussie and Insh, die unter anderen auch die benachbarten Orte Kingussie und Dalwhinnie umfasst. Der Ort hat etwa 1000 Einwohnerinnen und Einwohner.
