Nichtstrukturprotein

Ein Nichtstrukturprotein (abgekürzt NS bzw. NSP, englisch non-structural protein) bezeichnet in der Virologie Virusproteine, die nicht am strukturellen Aufbau des Virions beteiligt sind, also weder den Kapsid-, Matrix- und Membranproteinen der Virushülle zuzurechnen sind.
