Nicolas Schmit

Nicolas Schmit (* 10. Dezember 1953 in Differdingen) ist ein luxemburgischer Politiker (LSAP) und Diplomat. Er ist seit 2019 EU-Kommissar für Beschäftigung und soziale Rechte. Bei der Europawahl 2024 ist er der Spitzenkandidat der Sozialdemokratischen Partei Europas (SPE).
