Novatian

Novatian (lateinisch Novatianus; * um 200; † um 258) war Theologe und 251 bis 258 römischer Gegenbischof. Die spätantike Bewegung der Novatianer, die sich selbst katharoi (die Reinen) nannten, ist nach ihm benannt.
