Numerische Mathematik

Die numerische Mathematik, auch kurz Numerik genannt, beschäftigt sich als Teilgebiet der Mathematik mit der Konstruktion und Analyse von Algorithmen für kontinuierliche mathematische Probleme. Hauptanwendung ist dabei das näherungsweise Berechnen von Lösungen durch Approximationsalgorithmen mit Hilfe von Computern.
