Orgelsonate

Eine Orgelsonate (ital. sonata, suonata; von ital. suonare, lat. sonare „klingen“) ist ein mehrsätziges Werk, das für die solistische Darstellung auf einer Orgel geschrieben ist. Sie enthält oft Sätze in Sonatenhauptsatzform, was sie mit der Orgelsinfonie gemein hat.
