Als Pandit (Sanskrit: पण्डित paṇḍita [], Hindi: पण्डित paṇḍit []) werden in Indien brahmanischer Gelehrte bezeichnet, insbesondere für traditionelles indisches Recht, Philosophie oder Musik. Pandits können sowohl religiöse als auch säkulare Gelehrte sein.
