Pindar (altgriechisch Πίνδαρος Píndaros, latinisiert Pindarus; * 522 oder 518 v. Chr. in Kynoskephalai bei Theben; † nach 446 v. Chr.) war ein griechischer Dichter und zählt zum Kanon der neun Lyriker.
