Die Burgunderblutalge (Planktothrix rubescens) ist eine Art fädiger Cyanobakterien, oder „Blaualgen“. Im Jahr 2002 wurde die Art von S. Suda der Gattung Planktothrix zugeordnet, davor wurde die Art als Oscillatoria rubescens angesprochen.
