Polygnotos

Polygnotos (altgriechisch Πολύγνωτος Polýgnōtos) aus Thasos war nach antikem Zeugnis einer der berühmtesten griechischen Maler, der allerdings auch Bronzebildwerk schuf. Er wirkte von etwa 480 v. Chr. bis um die Mitte des 5. Jahrhunderts v. Chr.
