Popol Vuh („Buch des Rates“/ "Volksbuch"), in moderner Quiché-Schreibweise Poopol Wuuj, ist das heilige Buch der Quiché-Maya in Guatemala. Es behandelt gleichermaßen mythologische und historische Aspekte dieses Volkes.
