Popondetta
Popondetta ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Oro von Papua-Neuguinea im Südosten der Insel Neuguinea. Sie liegt im fruchtbaren Tiefland östlich des Owen-Stanley-Gebirges. Sie hatte bei der Volkszählung im Jahr 2000 19.556 Einwohner.
