Proteus (Mythologie)

Proteus (altgriechisch Πρωτεύς Prōteús, deutsch ‚der Erste‘), der „Alte vom Meer“, ist ein früher Meeresgott der griechischen Mythologie. In manchen antiken Versionen ist er hingegen ein ägyptischer König.
