Von einer Querinformation (auch: horizontale Information oder kurzer Dienstweg oder kleiner Dienstweg) wird innerhalb einer Kommunikationsstruktur bei Organisationseinheiten gesprochen, wenn eine Stelle einer anderen Stelle unmittelbar Informationen weiterleitet, ohne dass dabei der reguläre Dienstweg eingehalten wird.
