Republik Ezo

Die Republik Ezo (jap. 蝦夷共和国, Ezo Kyōwakoku) war eine kurzlebige Abspaltung von Japan auf der nördlichen Insel Ezo (auch Jesso, später Hokkaidō). Sie bestand von Dezember 1868 bis Juni 1869.
