Sébastien Vaillant

Sébastien Vaillant (* 26. Mai 1669 in Vigny, Val-d’Oise; † 26. Mai 1722 in Paris) war ein französischer Botaniker. Er „initiierte die Reform der Botanik“. Sein offizielles botanisches Autorenkürzel lautet „Vaill.“
