Südosteuropa bezeichnet die Länder im Südosten Europas, wobei die Abgrenzung je nach Kontext unterschiedlich ist. Der Begriff Balkan oder Balkanhalbinsel wird oft synonym dazu verwendet, das jeweilige Gebiet ist jedoch nicht deckungsgleich.
