Sahrauis

Die Sahrauis (andere Schreibweisen Sahraouis, Sahrawis, Saharaui) sind eine maurische Ethnie in der Westsahara. Das Ethnonym ist vom arabischen Wort Sahara (صحراء, DMG ṣaḥrāʾ), „Wüste“ abgeleitet, auf Tamazight ⵉⵙⴻⵃⵔⴰⵡⵉⵢⴻⵏ Iseḥrawiyen.
